Yummy Blessings

One of summer's yummiest blessings!

Tonight's dinner is either from the farmer's market or our garden!
Wish you all could join us for dinner!!!

  1. The food looks delicious and so do the plates. I love the colors!
Did I ever tell you that after 28 years of Corelleware, I got some Pfaltzgraf. I finally decided on the Sedona pattern and I love it. Every meal feels like a party with it.
You must have an incredible farmers market. We went to the one in GF in June and I bought a braid of sweetgrass. The lady who was selling it was burning some and it smells remarkably like an illegal substance.
I hope you'll post more meal photos. Maybe I'll give it a shot too.
    Have a great week.

  6. Thanks so much for the check. Jonny was delighted that you'd thought of him. It was a hot day, so he requested a trip to our local A & W. We had been to a local organic farm for a field trip and he said he had never been hotter!
I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip!

  7. Blessings from Down South! I've been away from my Blog for a few weeks and when I came back I was so pleased to find a new friend! Please come by for a visit now that I'm back in the swing of things. My life as matriarch of a large family keeps me very busy and sometimes LIFE HAPPENS!! My Blog, Grandmamas Stories, is my attempt to journal the minutia of my life so that perhaps one day my children and precious Grandchildren will look back and know what was important to Grandmama. I hope they will see me in the quilts I make for them, in the meals I've cooked, in the books I have read to them, in the flowers I plant, to the adventures I've had and in the stories I love to tell. Please stop by and invite a neighbor. Don't forget to leave a comment so I know you were there. I'm learning this "Blog thing" and will figure out how to get a counter but till then please say a little howdy for me "y'all!
