We just saw our 1st two days ago! What blessed me this morning? The sweet sound of birds tweeting outside the bedroom window! The red-winged blackbirds are back!
Oh how fun. Ours have been here a couple of weeks. Our crane just returned this week and the red wing black birds are back. Spring just must be around the corner.
They are calling for snow tomorrow ~hope it passes us by! Have a great day!
YAY!!! I was sitting outside the other day and a whole flock flew over! It was so much fun to watch!! I am so glad for Spring, but I know those who have had to weather the bad winter storms are even more glad!
Our robins haven't shown up yet and I don't expect them for awhile. We've had several bouts of subzero temps and they can't fly while wearing down jackets. It should be warm the next couple of days, causing the creeks to rise. We are about a block from one, so our prayer is that is doesn't rise too fast. What blessed me this am? Time spent with Jonny playing card games after breakfast (before school). May you see many more robins in the days to come.
Yeah Spring is here shortly, it is really gorgeous here today, had many errands to run, and got to hold my 8th great grand child, Skylar James Watts is his name. Hope you have a good day, hugs my friend Barbara
Everything is budding out here in Louisiana. The pollen will be falling in another week. Hopefully the rain will pass so the men can get their gardens planted. I enjoy almost everything about spring. Have a good week.
