While we are living in the country cottage

( I like to call it glorified camping)

our furniture is living in the other cottage.

We raided the basement for

those cast off pieces, borrowed a few things

and moved the essentials.

Just Start With Today

Oh my GOODNESS!!!

I certainly didn't mean to be away

for such a

time.

It's been so long that...

I don't even know where to start.

I will just start with today...

Here at our little country cottage...

It is a

 LOVELY

BRIGHT

SUNNY

DAY

Now that hunting season is over

Yay!

It's safe to head back outside.

Libby(my little gardening buddy and constant companion) and I decided

we needed to go for a walk

through our woods.

She had to stop and sniff

EVERY THING!!!

And

I do mean

EVERYTHING!!!

We had such a lovely walk!

Don't let that sunshine

fool you into thinking it's warm.

Not a chance!

My fingures are chilled to the bone

(My grandma use to say that)

Now,

 It's time for a cuppa!

Shopping

Hello,

How many of you like to shop?

Maybe this will come as

a shock to some of you

but

I DON'T LIKE TO GO SHOPPING!!!

Drives my girls nuts

and I probably miss out on

some really sweet

mother/daughter time.

Not sure why that is

but I just don't like to shop.

I would rather go

to the dr. for one of those female

checkups (which I'm not fond of either)

than go shopping.

The other day the cute engineer and I

hopped in the car and did a little shopping.

The Plan

A few months back

my very talented SIL

who blogs here

sewed up the CUTEST owl pillows!

When Jen saw those cuties

her mind went into overdrive

and a plan was hatched.

The Plan

Jen: Mommy (that's what she calls me when she wants something)
 would you make an owl pillow for me?

Mom (me): I would love to!

A few hours later.....

Jen: Mommy, (insert sweet smile and many compliments)

Would you make some for my friends as well?

Mom (me): ARE YOU KIDDING ME....

I WOULD LOVE TO!!!

Jen and I sat down and got BUSY

Are they not the cutest little owls!!!!!

Each one has found its new home

and I have been told they are quite happy.
