"Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,"
1 Peter 1:8
This afternoon my family and I will be attending the memorial service of my sweet neighbor's son. I am humbled at how God has brought family and friends together to lift each other up whether it is with a hug, a tear, a smile, remembering the good times or a message left on a computer.
I am thankful to have been a witness to this and I want to thank you all for your prayers and sweet comments.
~Nancy~
Keeping you all in my prayers, God bless you as you come together to help each other.

I came to visit to check on your neighbor. She's been in my thoughts and prayers. Please tell her that I feel her sorrow so many miles away without even knowing her or her son, so I can NOT imagine how difficult this is for her and all of you. I'm so sorry. Truly.
ReplyDeleteStill now, tears. Just sadness. I know he is rejoicing with our Lord in HEaven, but it's still such a sadness that I feel for your neighbor and mom. Praying.
Thank you for sharing this verse. I needed to hear it today. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who is waiting on her mom to come out of surgery. Her breast cancer is back and they are putting in a port today. Her mom is an older lady. Sherri is having a hard tim.
ReplyDeleteWould you have a verse for me to give to her to comfort her and bring her peace?
