It felt like yesterday that this sweet baby learned to walk.
Once she took that first step there was no turning back!
This is my oldest daughter Katie.
This Saturday she is going to talk a walk!
She will be graduating with honors from Cedarville University with a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
They do grow up fast, such a beautiful girl, thank you for sharing. Hugs Barbara

Of course you are proud...That is a great big deal...We are in the medical profession in our family and it needs all the wonderful, fresh, caring, well-educated, Christian people it can get. I'm proud of her, also! You go girlie! Katie BSN!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Katie! Fun seeing you today Nancy. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Katie on her BSN!! You must be one proud Momma!
ReplyDelete(I remember seeing a lot of info about Cedarville when our daughter was searching for a school. I think they mailed us a bunch of pamphlets and info. She finally picked one that was only a few hours from home though.)
CONGRATULATIONS to Katie...what a stunningly (is that a word?) beautiful young lady...as well as an adorable baby. How exciting for her. I will pray for a great job situation. We get to have a college graduation as well in a couple of weeks so I know how you are feeling...a little emotional to let loose of those baby girls and let them become women.
ReplyDeletePlease post pics of graduation and also of that new porch in the works!!!!
Congratulations to Katie - I can see why she is so special..Love your quilting too :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Congrats.....many blessings.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful young lady! and SMART!~I so wish I would have gone into nursing...
ReplyDeleteNow is an even better time than ever! She will never have to worry about a lack of work and there are SO many who need a kind, compassionate and BEAUTIUFL lady at their side during their time of illness.
Thank you for sharing with us her baby photo and a current one. While Katie might not be too happy about this, or she might!?, it's just the perfect whay to show how quickly they DO grow up and how moldable children really are. Katie was obviously well loved and brought up knowing Our Lord..
Enjoy your weekend!!!! I have goosebumps just thinking of all the tears and hugs, laughter, hopes, dreams, promise for a wonderful life! Go get em Katie!!!~You got the world by the tail! Proud of you!
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your blog.
Congratulations to Katie. Don't they grow up so fast. I often tell my youngest that I blinked and he was grown. You should be so proud. My DIL with the 6 kids is a nurse and I know how hard she worked to get there.
