Constant Motion

Hellooooooo out there!

It's been a while...

How are things going?

Things here at the cottage

seem to be in motion all the time...

The garden is coming along nicely.

especially the dandelions!

Still, lots of things to plant.

Libby (my gardening buddy) has renewed

her passion for digging up the yard.

I have three different quilts in the works.

The cute engineer and I are enjoying some

very sweet time with our girls.

Today, it's going to be cool and rainy

a perfect day to step away from the

constant motion to enjoy

a cuppa and a good book!

Sweet Blessings

Do you ever find yourself

with a heart so full

that it is hard to sort out your feelings?

That's how I am feeling this evening.

I am overwhelmed in a good way

with blessings that have flowed so sweetly my way.

Do you ever feel like you need to post

just for the sake of posting?

That's how I am feeling this evening.

I would love to share with you all the

blessings that have sweetly touched me

but like I said I am a little overwhelmed

in a good way and I can't seem to sort things out.

The cute engineer is roasting coffee

and I think I will sit down with

a cuppa and enjoy the overwhelming

blessings that my Heavenly Father

has sent my way!

Father God,

Thank You for filling my

heart to overflow.

I am forever grateful

for the memories that have been

made this past week.

and just because a post needs a photo.....

While Julie (the very important quest)

was here, we went to Greenfield Village.

Both of us made a little glass flower.

An experience I will never forget.

The Sweet Buzz of Excitement

Oh my goodness!!!!!

I am soooooooo

excited!!!

Today is the day.....

that THE VIG

(very important guest)

arrives at the cottage.

I can hardly contain the excitement!

I could hardly sleep last night!

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning to come!

 Sometimes a squeal just escapes from no where!

12:36 can't get here fast enough!

Julie, (THE VIG) and I have been friends

for over thirty years!

Time has brought us through

the thick and thin of life.

She is one of God's sweetest blessings!

I simply can not wait to.....

make some new memories.

Let the fun begin!!!!!

Lovely Surprises

Yesterday was such a GRAND day!

and

full of lovely surprises.....

The cute engineer ticked off a few boxes

on the never ending honey do list.

Words can not express just

how giddy that made me!

He's a keeper!!!

My sweet girl....

had to work all week end

(she works the twelve hour night shift)

So, I really wasn't expecting to see her

BUT

She showed up with the

BEST EVER HOMEMADE LEMON BARS!!!!!!!!!

and a new rhododendron.

My other sweet girl was not suppose to get

home until today.....

BUT

I heard a door open and in

walked that sweet girl

with her beautiful smile

and

all her stuff

Simply put.....

It was the best mothers day I've ever had!!!!!

I hope all of you had a lovely day

celebrating.

As we celebrated this day

I thought of so many of you!

Mothers day can be a hard day for many.

Each circumstance is different

and I want you to know that I thought

about you all and prayed for you.

Nope, I haven't fallen off the face of the internet

but thanks for asking.

I've been busy procrastinating.....

I've been busy painting.....
I've been busy sewing a new quilt.....

I've been busy with some yard work.....

I've been getting ready for my sweet girl

to come home.....

I've been getting really excited!!!

Next week a VIG

 (very important guest)

will be visiting the cottage.

I've been doing some day dreaming.....
