My New Quilt

For the past few days I have been busy
working on a new quilt.
It's the
Underground Railroad Sampler

The book is
by Eleanor Burns & Sue Bouchard

Not only is this a book giving instructions on specific blocks
it also gives a history lesson.

Love that!

So, my bloggy friends
what have you been up to?

  1. I'm glad you're posting more often.
I do have a request, if it is ever convenient for you....pictures of Michigan barns.
The quilt squares are lovely. I'm glad you're enjoying your new machine!

  2. Hi Nancy,
I just got your email and got a note back to you. And then skipped on over and now my mouth is open in awe that you are MAKING that quilt!! WOW that will be beautiful. So here's a post for you....I want to see your sewing area and where you do all this beautiful work. Can't wait to see the end result of this project! I'm so impressed by quilters!!! That is a true talent!

  3. Your blocks look great!! I should be working on some of my ufo quilts!
:-( One of these days I may finish them.

  4. Looking good Nancy! Isn't quilting fun?! :)

  5. I just love Eleanor burns quilt books. I love her too, that smile is contagious. Your blocks look wonderful and looking forward to seeing the completed quilt.
