Last week I was out shopping and came across this cute little glass jar. Well, it was fifty percent off so naturally I put it in my cart and off I went. I have been wanting to make a terrarium for some time now. You see I cannot keep a house plant alive and someone told me that these little fellas are foolproof. So I am stepping out in faith.

Today I went out and bought the plants and soil along with gravel and charcoal. First I layered a little bit of the gravel, then came the charcoal (I found both of these at the pet store), some soil and then last but not least the plants.

What do you think?

  2. I love it! So beautiful! Do you remember making them in school? I vaguely do... I think my favorite part was putting those little ceramic animals in there that you use to get in tea and making it look like a mini enviroment.
That was funny about giving the colt a hot sudsy bath! lol I can just see that now. LIke bathing a cat with it's two wildcat parents clinging to your arms... I wonder how dirty the water would be?!?! lol
Great project, beautiful containter. Half price? wow!~ My kind of shopper. Do you have Tuesday Mornings where you live?
