Sew Fun

Hey all!

Hope you had a great week end.
Mine was sew fun (Ha!)
Thanks for all your sweet comments!
The room was filled with women
of all ages laughing and talking.
The sound of working sewing machines
was like a concert...each playing a part.

There were several gals
with featherweight machines
and one gal even had a iron to match...sew cute!

Here are a few shots of the

Mystery Quilt...

This is just a small smattering
of all the beautiful quilts
cuz...well...you know me...
you have to remember to use your camera Ha!

What a sweet week end!

  1. I think I know which one was yours, but I'm not so sure. How fun to see so many versions of the same quilt. That was quite a big group you had. My neighbor, Stella, is part of a group who hauls their machines to the local library on Tues. am. for some quilting. Sometime I am going to go and just look at the quilts. By the way, she asked me if I would let her display our new quilt at a display the library is having in April. Of course I said yes, although the wall will look very blank without it.
Glad you had such a great time!

  2. Hi Nancy, Loved seeing all the different "flavors"of quilts at the retreat-but you didn't post who put it on or if there was a name of the pattern. I can't wait to see your here. Have a wonderful week.
    Hugs, Noreen

  3. What a wonderful getaway. I love all the quilts. I wished I had learned to quilt earlier. It is such a beautiful artful expression of colors and shapes and love. Blessings!

  5. Isn't it amazing, when doing a mystery quilt, how the same quilt pattern looks so different with all the different fabrics? I have only done one so far and it was a lot of fun. Especially during the big reveal of what we are actually making! :)
