Projects and Helpers

I love, love, love having both my girls home!!!
We have been cooking, eating and doing some projects.
Jen and I went shopping last week and found the perfect fabric for her quilt.

It fits her personality to a T.

I can't tell you just how excited I am to be doing this quilt for my sweet girl.

Katie and I are planting a garden.
First we had to build the forms.
I really should say Rich and Katie built the forms.

Libby supervised!

Katie found prince charming!

Ready for plants.

A job well done!
Plants to come SOON.

  2. Quilting and gardening, it doesn't get much better than that, except when you have helpers!

  3. I agree with Sewn with Grace...fabric and plants!!! Now all I need to be happy is a recipe book and a camera!!
I'm so glad you're having fun!!! Life is supposed to be fun, at least according to my translation of the "JOY"!

I stand and eat stuff out of her garden!! You are inspiring me to do it. Hummmmm...project for a weekend? What are you putting in them!! Please keep US posted through YOUR posts!!! And lots of pictures please! :0)

  5. well---I now only put in the vegs that I really love. For me that is beets, radishes, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, cukes, tomatoes, peppers, zuchinni, green beans, cantaloupe and watermelon...oh and a few gr onions. In the past I've done carrots and parsnips but they aren't worth the trouble to me anymore. Almost everything is easy done in the raised beds. Since it is just Doc and I a few of lots of stuff is best for us...but hey, there aren't any rules!!!
